I think this is a great idea!! Who can relate more than someone that has been through the shit...PTSD is a tough diagnosis to work through. But it also takes a skilled counsellor to guide someone through the trauma gently, I hope it is done right and I hope they give the folks time for schooling. A nice start for sure.

Good to see Canada giving her veterans and soldiers first class treatment. It truly warms my heart.

They have also been asking for addictions counsellors as well...which is brilliant cuz it all goes hand in hand...Truly great

I know a few ex-troops who are doing this very thing already.

Give them the same authority and rank level as a Padre.

That way they have the horsepower to get things done in the chain of command, but when they talk to you they're the same rank.

yes combat people that extreme harsh combat, and others that fall into the category of falling sick should be definatly looked after by the canadian armed forces... IF you go to combat and if you serve in canada based on the department of veterans affairs,, and their indiendo of what what is a soldier is defined is that, i think people that serve here and abrod should be nessisary covered.. simple,, you serve your covered....
