Inflation feeds into their bonuses. It's a self reinforcing feedback loop that only revolution can correct.

With "earned" being a term that's open to much debate. Has anyone in a very comfortable position inside a good ol' boys network ever actually earned anything? From the outside it looks like nothing but a circle-jerk of insider pals making sure that none of the members of their club ever have to experience the sort of life the pissants & peons in the normal world get to endure.

Personally, I don't believe anyone could work 600 times harder than someone else.

Didn't know that robbing pension funds and selling off entire industries for scrap was such hard work that deserved such massive rewards. Only something the very elite among us are capable of accomplishing apparently. :|

It does take a special kind of villain to be that kind of heatless and avaricious.

You don't have to be a villain. You just have to be a Capitalist. A true Capitalist can't leave that much leverageable cash sitting there without exploiting it. That's why true Capitalism can never be allowed to exist.
