Wounded and injured soldiers both serving and retired have been given the option of postponing the filing of disability claims until after the Liberal governments pension-for-life plan is implemented on April 1, CBC News has learned.
How the hell can Veterans Affairs have a cash crunch?
Oh wait, it might just be because of the 1.1 billion the Conservatives "left unspent" or the "372" million the Liberals forgot to give to the vets.
My guess is that money is no longer in the VA coffers because if it was it would have eliminated the "cash crunch" that was created by successive gov'ts fucking the Veterans.
But on the plus side. I got my letter from Veteran's Affairs and was politely informed that my pension may increase by the lofty sum of $10.00 per month. (note I said may)
Pardon the pun but, talk about adding insult to injury.
Well, these things have to be done, what with those well-off veterans lazing around on the public dollar. Our government deserves credit for the vigour in which this department, more than any other federal department, ensures that not a penny is wasted and that any surplus can go to other very important things, like more assistance for Bombardier or SNC Lavalin, or pledges to Twitter appeals by heroes like Trevor Noah. Efficiency demands no coddling of anyone!
