China is expressing ``strong dissatisfaction'' with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over his criticism of a death sentence given to an alleged Canadian drug smuggler at a retrial.
The Chinese have a point though. Canada, especially the Liberal party, has for far too long been treating Canadian citizenship not just as a get-out-of-jail-free card but practically as a license to commit mayhem in other countries. No matter what evil some jerk of a Canadian does, with the most glaring examples being Omar Khadr and double-murderer Ronald Smith on death row in Montana, the government goes riding to the rescue with the Canadian media and left-wing activists doing the full bore "save them, the poor babies!" routine. It's disgusting and disrespectful of other countries. If this dope from Abbotsford was arrogant enough to try to do a drug deal in a country like China then fuck him. This is the comeuppance he's earned.
You mean all that American thermal coal that gets shipped out of Vancouver, with nary a peep of protest from either the China-baiting Trump regime or the local anti-carbon (but only if it's from Alberta) British Columbia environmentalist collective? Oh, yeah, that coal.
"BartSimpson" said Retaliate by putting an embargo on coal shipments to the Chinese.
I dare you.
Nah, they can source that coal just about anywhere.
If we want to hurt them, we ban Huawei from installing 5G technology in Canada and lock them out of North America. NA isn't their biggest market, but it'll hurt their bottom line somewhat and more importantly, hinder their corporate espionage activities.
"BartSimpson" said Banning Huawei from your market is like prohibiting the German Army from marching down the Champs Elysee.
Not sure what you mean by that statement, but Australia, New Zealand and the US have all banned Huawei from participating in their new 5G cellular networks.

China wouldn't know 'rule of law' if it bit them in the pineapple chicken balls.
I dare you.
Aaahahahahahahahahahahaha!
China wouldn't know 'rule of law' if it bit them in the pineapple chicken balls.
Testicles yesterday...
Balls today...
I'm starting to see a theme.

I meant that it's a very, very good idea.
