Jury finds Raymond Cormier not guilty in death of Tina Fontaine

She was failed by pretty well every adult, community and organization she came into contact with over her short life.

This needs to be looked at more carefully. It was buried pretty quick.

This is the kind of acquittal that should have people blowing up in anger, not the Colten Boushie one. After what I read about Cormier earlier I don't know what someone could be thinking to say he's not guilty, not after he basically said on audio recordings to the police that he had "urges" towards under-18 girls.

And she weighed less than 80 lbs. at age 15? Gee, thanks for looking after her nutritional needs so well, family. Jesus fuckin' Christ.

But remember it�s presumed innocent until proven guilty not presumed guilty if you�re a meth head lowlife with creepy thoughts . I�m guessing he probably did kill her but guessing probably isn�t enough for a conviction; nowhere is it clearly proven in the recordings.

Milgaard. Bragged about killing Miller....was a POS, but in the end, was found to be innocent after spending 23 yrs. in prison.

And they eventually got a DNA match to a serial rapist who was ultimately convicted for the crime and died in prison

I thought Migaard did the "confession" because it was taken out of him by, ahem, enhanced interrogation.

AFAIK Milgaarrd never confessed. His druggie friends gave a false statement (later recanted) that he had confessed to them.

And, as is now usual, the politicians just can't keep their grubby hooves

Give it a day or so for the flood of "it's all Stephen Harper's fault" accusations to be made. They haven't played that card for a while but they can always break it out of storage.
