what a complete and utterly BS idea. You were born a male, I don't care if you don't like it, and I also don't care if you want to 'change' that but you are a male. Biology trumps your gender dysphonia disorder it's idiots like this and other SJW that are creating this shadow lingo in the ether.
There are many psychological disorders, we don't have check boxes on id's for them do we? we are talking about something basic, either male or female. This is a psychological condition that could and is treated with behavioral modification techniques. And I don't like your tone, I am commenting on HIS proposed actions and not on HIM personally try to keep that straight.

It's biological. No different than people born with both a vagina and penis & testes. What would you label that person?

You know this is written language, not spoken, right? The 'tone' you hear is only in your own head and the result of your own biases.
Accepting criticism is the natural consequence of posting your opinion.
Different case, this person was born male. That is not in question, and just like we don't have 'both' for hermaphrodite (in your example that we aren't talking about) this is a very small portion of the population. You can't throw biology out the window based on someone's dysphonia.
"BartSimpson" said ...and what relevance does that have to an (M/F) designation on IDs?
BECAUSE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A FUCKING AND NOT A STATEMENT OF YOUR MENTAL CONDITION!!!
It's not a mental condition to be born with gender dysphoria. Just as it's not a mental condition to be born with both, or neither reproduction organs, or as a Chimera.
It was traditionally thought to be a psychiatric condition meaning a mental ailment. Now there is evidence that the disease may not have origins in the brain alone.
Studies suggest that gender dysphoria may have biological causes associated with the development of gender identity before birth.
More research is needed before the causes of gender dysphoria can be fully understood.
Some children insist, from the moment they can speak, that they are not the gender indicated by their biological sex. So where does this knowledge reside? And is it possible to discern a genetic or anatomical basis for transgender identity? Exploration of these questions is relatively new, but there is a bit of evidence for a genetic basis. Identical twins are somewhat more likely than fraternal twins to both be trans.
Male and female brains are, on average, slightly different in structure, although there is tremendous individual variability. Several studies have looked for signs that transgender people have brains more similar to their experienced gender. Spanish investigatorsled by psychobiologist Antonio Guillamon of the National Distance Education University in Madrid and neuropsychologist Carme Junqu Plaja of the University of Barcelonaused MRI to examine the brains of 24 female-to-males and 18 male-to-femalesboth before and after treatment with cross-sex hormones. Their results, published in 2013, showed that even before treatment the brain structures of the trans people were more similar in some respects to the brains of their experienced gender than those of their natal gender. For example, the female-to-male subjects had relatively thin subcortical areas (these areas tend to be thinner in men than in women). Male-to-female subjects tended to have thinner cortical regions in the right hemisphere, which is characteristic of a female brain. (Such differences became more pronounced after treatment.)
IIRC, the Wachowski Brothers who wrote "The Matrix" and "V for Vendetta" movies are now the "Wachowski Sisters". If the cause were psychological, why does it follow both siblings?
It's not a mental condition to be born with gender dysphoria.
Yes, it is. You may not like that and a lot of fucked up psychologists might not like it yet there it is.
In the rare circumstance of a person born with functioning male and female traits then I'll note that a very real physical condition exists and I'll also note that it doesn't necessarily need to be treated.
But if you're born (whatever) then you should learn to accept who you are and move on.
This total bullshit of everyone getting to be whatever they want is just that: total bullshit.
People who are born paralyzed will never play in the NBA no matter how much they as a basketball player.
It's unfair and that's life and people need to accept it and not expect the rest of us to participate in their delusions.
Biology trumps your gender dysphonia disorder
It's also Biology that created the disorder - but hey, way to demonstrate your tolerance of others that affects you not at all!
...but hey, way to demonstrate your tolerance of others that affects you not at all!
So then it's okay for white people to decide that they're actually black, right?

What difference does it make to me how she identifies, and what relevance does that have to an (M/F) designation on IDs?

Sure, why not.
I'm sure the way you see yourself is very different than the way others see you.

great discussion that pretty much sums up all the SJW position. Go in to around ~1 hr.
