Donald Trump's 90-day ban on seven Muslim countries is in place to achieve one thing: he wants you to understand America has borders, and from now on its going to protect them.

Friendly Reminder: Obama Selected The List Of Muslim Countries in Trumps Executive Order

As the Left and some Republicans lose their minds over President Donald J. Trumps executive order on immigration, lets not forget that the list of concerned countries that the Trump administration outlined in the order is based on the one signed into law by the former Obama administration.

More accurately, civilians killed by terrorists from those places:

Any ban that doesn't include Saudi Arabia is fraudulent. And I support the concept of the ban, but I won't support one that let's the worst and most monstrous of all Muslim states off the hook simply because rich Americans (including that oaf of a new president) have business deals in those four countries.

So you're saying this President shouldn't have used the last President's (Obama's) list for a temporary 90 day visa ban while they check into possible terror links then. Is that it?

    From Trump:

"My policy is similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months. The seven countries named in the Executive Order are the same countries previously identified by the Obama administration as sources of terror.

Why are you in favour of leaving the Saudis, the world's worst supporters and exporters of terrorism and terrorist ideology, off of the travel ban?

Actually I'm for jumping all over the Saudis.

Trump's using Obama's old list for this first 90 day ban. I'm hoping it's politics and more extensive controls are to follow. What I'd really like to see is a ban on Wahhabi money as soon as possible. Much more than that as well, if you're asking me what I'd do. Actually the Trump plan is a pussy plan next to the Fiddledog plan. Trust me the Saudi's and other oil nations financing terror would get theirs under the Fiddledog plan.

And yet, when Obama signed it, not a word was said.

When Obama dropped 100,000 bombs on 7 countries, not a word was said.

When Obama banned Iraqis for 6 months in 2011, not a word was said.

    Nothing.
    Nothing from the MSM.
Nothing from all the anti war groups.
Nothing from all the butthurt countries who lining up to scream at Trump,
blind in their own stupidity and lying to the whole because none of them
are telling the truth, that this is Obama's list.

    Get it ?
The hypocracy of the left is jaw droppingly shameful.

If you actually think what Obama did in 2011 is the same as what Trump is doing now, you're dumber than I thought.

This is Trump's first big mistake. I'm not sure if he wanted to just demonstrate that he could rule by fiat, but this Executive Order was a completely unnecessary fight. By making the order actionable immediately he caused chaos at airports globally; something that could have been avoided by phasing this in over a short time. He's essentially galvanizing the opposition.

The supreme are of war is to subdue without fighting.

A nation has a right to say who can and cannot enter. Period.
