Last year I read Preece's first book, Amongst The Marines, it was an eye opener, but recent TV footage on the marines antics certainly supported this type of behaviour. I scoured Amazon for a while looking for the sequal and was not disappointed when Always A Marine was released this year. Preece left the marines but was still mentally a soldier. He knocked down all the civvy street walls that stood in his way and survived a number of experiences across the world because of his military training. A great real life story that I would strongly recommend.
Yes I too enjoyed Always A Marine. It was a good sequal to Amongst The Marines. It would also make a good film that would appeal to a lot of ex forces types. I guess.
