Well said Brent Swain. Although calling people with more than two kids an inresponsible asshole is not right. The people who have more than two kids in today's society are just not thinking about the long-term problems like pollution, consumerism (like you mentioned), loss of ecosystems.

Another problem is we fail to recognize obsessive greed as a mental illness. Instead we praise those with such a mental illness , dream of emulating them, and let them call the shots and make the rules for the rest of us. We have put the mentally ill in charge of the asylum. We totally buy the "More is always better " theory, and refuse to define, or even ask, how much is enough.
