If you ever decide to marry a Georgian girl (they’re really smart and pretty), then never let her persuade you to live in Georgia! I wish I hadn’t made that mistake some years ago... It’s just a terrible country where you really can’t have a normal job!
You see it’s been the second time in three years that I got sacked for the same reason from the post of junior administrator of one of the hotels here. And it’s not because I’m a bush-leaguer not at all. Simply our hotel’s director as well as some of the employees including myself was accused of forgery of some tax papers. Although in fact we never forged anything! The thing is that Georgian officials change the rules of issuing the papers very very often almost once a month or so! You really can’t keep abreast of them indeed... And if you showed up too late then you either pay huge fines for forged out-of-date papers or you get on trial... And this is the case with all fields of business!
Hopefully this time I’ll reason my pretty wife into leaving the damned country. You see I never heard of such mess in Canada.
