War. The situation at 10.00 on March 4.
Russia was defeated in the battle for Kyiv, and is throwing all its forces to the south to capture Mariupol, Donbass, Nikolaev, Odessa, and the entire Black Sea coast of Ukraine
1. The Russian command is focusing its efforts on capturing and securing in the south and east of Ukraine, on the territory of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Nikolaev and Odessa regions in order to destroy the Ukrainian economy by blockading ports;
2. Mariupol remains the only city currently standing in the way of Putin's plans to take over eastern Ukraine. Mariupol was in operational encirclement, heavy fighting is going on outside the city. Mariupol is a key city of Donbass, a port, an industrial center, it cannot be categorically surrendered. The enemy is constantly ironing the city with aircraft and artillery. All life support systems are destroyed, there is a humanitarian catastrophe in the city, this is done to cause the civilian population to flee and facilitate the assault. The well-known regiment of the National Guard, the marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other defense forces heroically defend the city despite powerful enemy attacks;
3. The enemy has occupied Energodar, and is threatening to disconnect the nuclear power plant from the Ukrainian energy system and power supply to industry;
4. The enemy occupied Kherson, fighting is going on in the area of the city;
5. The Armed Forces of Ukraine firmly hold Volnovakha, and repel attacks in the Orekhovo region, maintaining a foothold on the outskirts of Mariupol, however, the Russian command is trying with all its might to push our troops as far as possible from Mariupol;
6. The Russian offensive on Nikolaev and Voznesensk was repulsed with heavy losses, but new enemy reserves continue to advance in this direction;
7. Direct attacks on Kharkov were successfully repelled, the situation is confidently controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the entire defense perimeter of the city. The Russian command continues attacks west of Kharkov;
8. East of Kharkov, the Russians have occupied Balakleya and are threatening to attack Izyum and encircle Kharkov from the east, hanging over the northern flank of the JFO grouping in the Donbass. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are effectively destroying the occupiers in these areas, the Russians are shelling settlements over the area;
9. Russia continues to occupy the wedged west of Kyiv, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counterattack near Makarov and drove the Russians out of the Zhytomyr highway, inflicting huge losses on the invaders, the Russians are transferring new reserves to this area;
10. Direct attacks on Kyiv have stopped, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting active and effective military operations in the Gostomel region, the losses of the enemy in the Kyiv region are very high, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have driven the Russians out of many cities, including Bucha, Irpin;
11. The heroic defense of Chernigov continues, the enemy is constantly shelling the city;
12. The heroic defense of Sumy and Akhtyrka, the city under Russian fire, continues. The enemy suffered huge losses in the Sumy region;
13. To fight the people of Ukraine, Russia used the tactics of total terror - aviation and artillery destroy the civilian life support system of Ukrainian cities. Aircraft bombed the Akhtyrskaya thermal power plant, an electrical substation in Sumy, Mariupol, Kharkov. Ukrainian mobile phones are switched off in the occupied territories in order to cut off communication between residents. Rocket strikes are carried out on densely populated residential areas in all Ukrainian cities of central and eastern Ukraine, dozens of houses, schools, and public buildings have been destroyed.
Conclusions:
1. The situation remains tense on all fronts. Everywhere except in a number of directions in the south, the Russians received a powerful rebuff and suffered huge losses, which sharply reduced their ability to attack, and also led to troops fleeing in many directions, to the loss of many hundreds of pieces of military equipment.
2. The situation, which requires close attention, is currently developing in Mariupol, Kherson and Energodar, Nikolaev, Voznesensk;
3. Mobilization of the Ukrainian army has only started after the war began, so a lot has to be done on the go, hence why, despite hundreds of thousands of volunteers, the enemy, in some areas of the battlefront, has managed to demonstrate numerical advantage and squeeze past Ukrainian settlements.
4. The main factor in the superiority of the enemy is air supremacy. Russian ground forces are inferior to the Ukrainians in motivation and training, but they are superior in mobility, in the number of armored vehicles and artillery, in the use of ballistic and cruise missiles, and aviation. To disorganize the defense, Russia uses large-scale strikes on any settlements in order to force the civilian population to flee.
5. If Ukraine receives an emergency reinforcement of air defense systems, at least as simple and mobile as the American Avenger, and such as the Buk, which are in service with a number of European countries, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive a significant increase in their capabilities. The efforts of friends of Ukraine should be directed to the supply of fighters, the arrival of volunteer pilots, and the supply of air defense systems.
6. The main advantage of the people of Ukraine in this war is our unity and readiness to fight to the end. Now the country is putting itself into a mode of large-scale self-mobilization. The supply of weapons and air defense systems will allow us to achieve even greater success in the near future and protect our cities from sudden breakthroughs by Russian columns.
7. It is necessary to make every effort to harass the Russian troops in all sectors of the front, inflict losses wherever possible, since such harassing actions, combined with artillery and Bayraktar strikes, are capable of breaking through the enemy’s resistance in any direction.
8. To complete this review, I will say five words, the most important today: Mariupol, Energodar, Kherson, Nikolaev, Voznesensk.
