Yup. There was all the fuss about Saddam's chemical labs. Turned out to be bullshit. Turns out that really competent people were saying it was bullshit all along but the media had no time for them.
The damage to the US from that 2003 invasion, the loss of standing for the US, is still being felt today.
However, the idea that the US is funding bioweapons labs in Ukraine stretches credulity. For one, this the exact same thing the Russians said in Syria and Georgia to justify invasion. And that was all BS. For another, US backing of various laboratories in the Ukraine has been fairly aboveboard. It's not like some secret program was discovered.
But who knows? here in Canada, two Chinese nationals were fired from our only Level 4 biolab (level 4 labs can handle the most dangerous contagions). They were known to have worked closely with the Wuhan Level 4 lab. Nobody will say why they were escorted from the building by the RCMP and fired. They were never charged, I don't think. Nobody will say why.
Of course, biological weapons were supposed to have been banned in the 70s, but the whole thing stinks to me.
