I'm all for being fair but I'm not totally convinced on the need for an urban section just yet.<br />

Why do we need an urban issues section? Because urban areas (like rural areas) have their own problems that are either ignored, glosssed over, or generalized. Things like government subsidized housing, gentrification and the problems that arise from it, suburban exploitation of cities, major gridlock, urban cultural events, and how multiculturalism effects those of us who experience it en masse everyday. I mean, 80% of Canadians live in Urban areas, right? That includes suburban dwellers, but Canada's suburbs and its metropoles are as vastly different as Canada's rural areas and its urban areas.
