That was a great game. A very good test by the Finns where Canada played a full 60 minutes of solid hockey. Not only that, but they didn't get into penalty trouble like they did against Germany and that was a huge plus. I'm so looking forward to the New Years Eve game against the US.

I personally blame my wife for the lone Finn goal.

She had just finished asking if any team had gone 3 straight shutout games in the tournament and before I could answer the Finns scored.

I'm almost considering banning her from watching any further games.

Yeah. The us had the Canadians running around a bit in the first 6-8 minutes, but the Canada got over the nerves and held the edge after that. The game is living up the the new year Canada / US showdown.
