This is actually a very wide ranging topic and a very good one. Take a deep breath and read the following quickly without taking a breath and you'll get an idea of my emotional state when I speak of this subject... <br /> Talk about taking control of a society! Between Monsanto and others of their persuasion taking control of "life" by patenting their own versions of life forms and "allowing" the "inadvertant" spread of these patented "beings" and their not-so-subtle attempts to buy up the rights to the life blood of the planet in many places around the world and the pharmaceutical industry's ability to control doctors, advertise, create hypochondriacs and practically diagnose symptoms via television and the seemingly non-existant regulatory bodies of governments to either decide which drugs are safe or which "side effects" are acceptable and you get a feeling that, yes indeed their are nefarious forces at work to control and dumb-down the population.
