Thanks for the invite, but I can't come to the party, none of these particular words move me in any way without context. None of these particular words come across to me as having a bias without context. They are all benign.

I am partial to Democratic and Movement but that is a biased opinion.

If there was ever a time for Canadians to become pushy - now is the time - for time is running out on this nation called Canada.
I would like to invite everyone to complete a little survey on political diction.

There are two categories of words. Can people please share which words would be their top three from each category, based on which seem more appealing and less biased to one side of the spectrum or the other.

a rating from 1(being the best) to 3 for each category

1.
Sovereign
Reform
Liberty
Justice
Review
Nationalist
Democratic
Progressive

2.
Alliance
Coalition
Movement
Federation
Action
Organisation
Council
Here you go:

List A: 1 - Sovereign
2 - Progressive
3 - Justice

List B: 1 - Coalition
2 - Federation
3 - Organization

Hey don't get to hung up on words. You're judged by your actions, not your name, right? Actually no, not in Canada. For example, the "enlightened" youth we are always talking about seem to identify themselves with Liberals based on the party's name, more than anything else. This is just from my own experience. Don't start ragging on me for being a youth hater, as is usually done when someone points out we are not all we're cracked up to be. Sorry for being the pessimist here, but we've taken apathy (not to mention political correctness) to new extremes when we care so much about words.

The word "liberal" and the colour red win big.

If marketing were not worth anything, they wouldn't spend millions on strategists.....political techniques can work....and aren't they just giving people what they want? People want a slick party--which is one reason the NDP is still bouncing back.
