Well, there's the sainted Free Market in action. Griffin also lost a couple of other advertising gigs too, as she should have for going too far. Just like happened to Beck, Limpbaugh, O'Reilly, and Hannity when they all pushed the pig-envelope to it's limit. When the normies hit back with their money to nail the extremists it's merely a good thing, a reminder that people who were raised correctly and still possess manners/morals/ethics also retain their sense of smell too.
Major difference between CNN and FOX though. If some right-winger had been seen burning an Obama or Clinton figure in effigy FOX wouldn't have fired them. They'd probably give them a hour-long show in a primetime slot instead.
Actually, Limbaugh got new advertisers and then when some of his long-time advertisers tried to get back on his show (like "Sleep Train" mattress stores) he refused to let them back on his show. In no small coincidence Sleep Train recently went out of business and was bought out by 'Mattress Firm'.
Hannity was briefly boycotted by the insurance firm USAA. USAA mostly serves veterans and law enforcement and the pinheads at USAA failed to consider just how conservative their customer base is. They're now buying time on Hannity again.
Beck is not quite crazy but he's in Art Bell territory. He'll always have a core audience and that guarantees him advertising dollars.
O'Reilly will be back. For now he's free to keep writing books and as soon as his non-compete agreement with FOX is concluded he'll be back on the air. And when he's back on the air it'll cost FOX ratings and revenue if they don't give him a spot.
