It sounds like a punk band or the flyer to a neighbourhood get together They don't have a ton of hits or a lot of posters, but it's interesting to see parties spring up. I'm reminded of the last time such a thing happened which was just after world war two when they started coming out of the woodwork. If anything it shows the unrest in canada and the attempt to deal with it in a political way. I'm reminded very much of the early reform party, many of which were 'grassroots' conservatives who felt their party had sold out. As somebody who doesn't really want to see conservatives govern, any party that 'splits the vote' is welcome. Such parties always tend to bring up social issues, which often seems a mistake because social policy is primarily a provincial matter, which means it simply further divides them.
The other problem is that in the course of separation they would need the mandatory votes in ALL four provinces, something that probably ain't gonna happen. Manitoba is a have not province while sask is barely a have, with NDP governments, and Alberta hasn't exactly been writing them cheques. Albertans would figure they'd be better off on their own or just with BC so they have access to the coast, but then socially BC'ers are far different from Albertans. Either way, good luck.
