Quebec's belief that it can unilaterally reshape borders is no different than its preposterous claim that it is 'distinct'. <br /> <br /> Such injudicious arrogance!

Let's not get our issues mixed up here, things get confusing enough here as it is. To me, Quebec is clearly distinct, they have a different criminal justice system, a different charter, a different political system. Their referenda laws are VERY distinct, I could go on and on. If that's not distinct I don't know what it.<br /> So THATS a matter of opinion, different even among those who are not Quebec and have a vested interest. <br /> However, this is a far different issue and perhaps a very important one. Borders are touchy subjects, especially if one is in a province that may become a country. This may be nothing, just saber rattling, but it definitely bears looking into.
