Cooking up a True Blue Democracy

1) Take 160 randomly selected citizens from across the political spectrum.
2) Add months of education on electoral processes.
3) Stir in a healthy dose of pubic opinion.
4) Beat in a rigourous debate.
5) Then top it off with an overwhelming conscensus.
6) Lay it out on a silver platter for the public.

7) Bake in referendum.

Troubleshooting why your "True Blue Democracy" recipe did not work.

a) Mixture too lean to be served at the Party.
b) Public not willing to learn to eat new foods.
c) Certain groups at Party already too full at trough.

Then let's not ask for permission.

Had the status quo never changed we would still be swinging clubs rather than swinging at them.

Eddy Haymoor proved they only change when we swing clubs at them.

Had I taken an embasy hostage, as eddy did , my situation would have been resolved many years ago.

I guess I have been, foolish in beleving that since my inventions and innovations, had significant social value they would be accepted on mertit alone.

Dennis Baker
