The people never HAD their country, so how can it be taken back? Check out 'www.mypartytoo.com' to see the republican version. The democrats were virtually identical to republicans in foreign policy, trade, military intervention, etc.<br />

If you take a look at the americans there is a real war going on between 'the people' and their government. You just don't hear about it on the corporate news. It is far beyond what we have in Canada, but then Canada is usually a little behind the US.<br />

As for the constant stream of rhetoric denouncing 'the masses', all we need add is that the posters often genuinely believe they are somehow in a different class just because they posted something at a website. <br />

What exactly is it you expect people to do? There have been very few solutions here, we can note that even the CAP candidates got fewer votes in this past election than the one previous. Options are getting slim, and if people want to see 'unity' then there needs to be something unified behind. If you can only answer that with some jingoistic rhetoric, you've no right to talk down to the PEOPLE.
