Time to dust off that Sex Pistols vinyl again, I guess. Is it just me, or is this cycle getting shorter? And is Liz still pissed off at Johnny Rotten?

I resent your use of the name 'Canadian patriots'. I am a Canadian patriot and, as such, I firmly support our Constitution which states in Paragraph 9 of the Constitution Act, 1867:

'The Executive Government and Authority of and over Canada is hereby declared to continue and be vested in the Queen.'

Oh, and Jovan? I don't appreciate you promoting trolling, vandalism and hacking other people's groups. You're just a typical monarchist: intolerant, tyrannical and despotic! You deserve a shipping back to England.

Notice the title of your thread?

I apologise for the use of the word trolling. I do not apologise for the post. If you read the post you will notice it is simply a reposting of our exchange here. I think it is vitally important that monarchists stick together and keep track of what potential traitors are up to.

Oh, and thanks for the publicity for the other forum!

While it might not be treason to call one's constitution a 'rag' it certainly isn't very patriotic.

God damn Her Degeneracy, Eliza-bitch Two, by the Wrath of God, of the British Empire, Tyrant and Oppressor of Peoples, Useless and Unnecessary, Defender of an Evil Form of Government the United States Aspires To!

The 'evil form of government' the United States HAS is a republic,to which, apparently, you would apparently have Canada aspire.

mikailus mikailus:
The USA is becoming more and more monarchistic, with less power in the hands of the people and more concentrated in the hands of one person. THUS the USA aspires to be a monarchy, the evil form of government.

You seem to have confused dictatorship with monarchy.
The US is headed for dictatorship (like a certain other democracy did in Europe a few years back when they 'got rid' of their monarch).

A Constitutional Monarchy actually provides some defense against such accretion of power.

Monarchy and dictatorship are the same thing. We have a constitutional dictatorship.

Are you making up definitions as you go along?

The Human Development Index is a composite of several factors. High HDI number indicate a nice place for humans to live.

Here is the list of the top 5 nations (with populations over 1 million) on the HDI in descending order:

# Australia
# Canada
# Sweden
# Switzerland
# Japan

You'll notice (I hope) that only one of them isn't a constitutional Monarchy.

Um... no. British Parliament set up Canada and our parliament.

The folks in Parliament that approved the current constitution of Canada (saving the Queen who gave assent) where all Canadians...
mikailus mikailus:
But we don't have our own head of state.

Do too! she's the Queen of Canada.
mikailus mikailus:
We don't have our own home-based head of state.

How many times to you think the President of the US visits North Dakota?
mikailus mikailus:
We can't choose our head of state because she is BRITAIN's head of state and not ours.

Britain's and Canada's and Australia's and 13 other Realms. She is certainly not Britain's alone.
mikailus mikailus:
She is based in BRITAIN, thus not ours.

Well, now, why don't you start a campaign to get Her Majesty to move to Canada. They considered that back in the dark days of WWII - what with the EU gutting the United Kingdom, it might not be bad time to revisit the issue.

Relevance?

If you don't know the difference in Monarchy and Dictatorship, you've no business discussing politics, you'll be seen for a fool.

If you beef is with dictatorship, how could the HDI not be relevant?

mikailus mikailus:
And who created our Parliament? Who created our constitution? What about the BNA?
Why isn't she located here?
You can't tell the difference between a US state and a state, can you?
She is based in Britain, thus is Britain's queen and not ours because she's not based here.
I'd rather have a republic than a monarchy, thank you. I am not a monkey.

Glad you clarified the last part. :)

Wherever you 'base' the head of state, every other Provence, City, Town, and Hamlet could as easily claim that they're 'not based here'. Its a ather silly reason to object to the head of state.

Sure I know the difference between a State and the United States, but overall, aren't the climates rather similar - and the Queen comes calling much more often.

As for the BNA, the Parliament in London did a rather decent job of cutting the apron strings as the nation grew to the point where it was appropriate. Something to be proud of, not to whine about.
