Canada had an immigration policy under PC governments as well; Terrorists are not going to immigrate to Canada due to the danger of extradition, thus they are not going to be voting Liberal(or anything else). If there *Are* terrorists in Canada voting Liberal, they are just as likely to be white anglophones as anything else.

Illegal immigration into the US has nothing to do with terrorism at all; the illegal immigrants that The Minutemen are looking for are generally Mexicans who then get under-the-table jobs. Canada is a first world country, and thus that incentive is gone. The Minutemen are looking for non-whites, and have no clue how to spot a terrorist. Of course, the Minutemen have caught nothing but an unmarked Border Patrol SUV thus far, which kind of points out how out to lunch their irrational fears are.

Getting back to the point, it's kind of sad that they linked to a page where the only comment was from Brother Jonathan, an American. :/

Thanks for sharing this Roy. I was not aware of this website. It's nice to see vive getting publicity. It's also refreshing for me personally to come across this site for many reasons. Mainly because these types of sites, positive Christianity influences give me hope and make me feel truly alive, the same type of alive you feel when your a little child.

It's how you feel when "fear" holds only a small part of your brain. You just feel like you own the world, your going to embrace it and nothing is going to stop you. (FEAR= False Emotions Appearing to be Real.)

Over the years I have come so cynical of religion and politics because of how both have treated or progressed mankind. History is our proof. I realize now that it was never realy about the words religion or politics that was causing me to feel this way. I realize now it's the type of people who try to rob the system of politics or religion from the people, a transaction between the majority of people to the elites. That can be said for companies, media, food, human rights etc... Everything has become ownership of a few. The right wing Christians support this, for what?

Christianity is not as bleak when your not seeing it through the eyes of right wing Christian fanatic.

Kevin

P.S...Sorry for anyone who may not like the religious talk. I say sorry because I respect an Atheist, and I don't expect any respect back really. Although I hope for it.

Hey I am buddhist but that doesn't stop me from reading great news!

CSMonitor produces great middle of the road work. I have been a long time reader and do not hesitate to tell others about it. Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus whatever! We are all stuck on this big blue looking rock together whether we all like it or not!

@perturbed. Your name is apt my Canadian friend. Did you notice in the CSMonitor article or the ones here on Vive that not a single terrorist or even illegal was stopped on the US-Canada border by these yahoos? Let immigration, and border patrol do their jobs. The quick thinking agent in Bremerton Washington picked off the only known terrorist to go from Canada to the US. So, that speaks volumes.

Besides all that - if these Minutemen (wonder if their wives call them that too?) spent as much time lobbying their government to stop screwing with other nations thus creating terrorism in the first place, they wouldn't need to be standing around in the rain on the Northern border now would they?

And terrorists voting Liberal? I would think they would vote Conservative as they wanted to go to war in Iraq - aka - playing right into their hands!

If there was ever a time for Canadians to become pushy - now is the time - for time is running out on this nation called Canada.
