Canadian Anthems
These are the anthems of Canada, Quebec, Labrador and that of the UK as Canda is in the Commonwealth and it is therefore one of OUR anthems as well... so sing LOUD and PROUD!
O, Canada
the full version of the national anthem
O Canada!
Our Home and native land.
True patriot love,
In all thy sons comand.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free.
From far and wide,
O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land
Glorious and free,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee (repeat)
O Canada!
Where pines and maples grow,
Great prairies spread
And lordly rivers flow.
How dear to us thy broad domain,
From East to Western sea.
Thou land of hope for all who toil,
thou True North strong and free.
God keep our land,
Glorious and free,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee (repeat)
O Canada!
Beneath thy shining skies
May stalward sons,
And gentle maidens rise.
To keep thee steadfast through the years,
From Earst to Western sea,
Our own beloved native land!
Our True North strong and free!
God keep our land,
Glorious and free,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee (repeat)Â
God Save the Queen
The United Kingdom's national anthem
God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God save the Queen!
O Lord our God arise,
Scatter our enemies,
And make them fall!
Confound their knavish tricks,
Confuse their politics,
On you our hopes we fix,
 God save us all!
Not in this land alone,
But be God's mercies known,
From shore to shore!
Lord make the nations see,
That men should brothers be,
And form one family,
The wide world ov'er.
From every latent foe,
From the assasins blow,
God save the Queen!
O'er her thine arm extend,
For Britain's sake defend,
Our mother, prince, and friend,
God save the Queen!
Thy choicest gifts in store,
On her be pleased to pour,
Long may she reign!
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause,
To sing with heart and voice,
God save the Queen!

The Maple Leaf Forever
The unofficial anthem of Canada
In Days of yore,
From Britain's shore
Wolfe the dauntless hero came
And planted firm Britannia's flag
On Canada's fair domain.
Here may it wave,
Our boast, our pride
And joined in love together,
The thistle, shamrock, rose entwined,
The Maple Leaf Forever.
[CHORUS]
The Maple Leaf
Our Emblem Dear,
The Maple Leaf Forever.
God save our Queen and heaven bless,
The Maple Leaf Forever.
At Queenston Heights and Lundy's Lane
Our brave fathers side by side
For freedom's home and loved ones dear,
Firmly stood and nobly died.
And so their rights which they maintained, We swear to yeild them never.
Our watchword ever more shall be
The Maple Leaf Forever
[CHORUS]
Our fair Dominion now extends
From Cape Race to Nootka Sound
May peace forever be our lot
And plenty a store abound
And may those ties of love be ours
Which discord cannot sever
And flourish green for freedom's home
The Maple Leaf Forever
[CHORUS]Â

Gens du Pays
Quebec's unofficial anthem

Ode to Labrador
Unofficial anthem of Labrador. The lyrics were written by Dr. Harry L. Paddon 1927 and traditionally played to O Tannebaum, but several alternatives have been played.
Dear land of mountains, woods and snow,
Labrador, our Labrador.
God's noble gift to us below,
Labrador, our Labrador.
Thy proud resources waiting still,
Their splendid task will soon fulfill,
Obedient to thy Maker's will,
Labrador, our Labrador
Thy stately forests soon shall ring,
Labrador, our Labrador.
Responsive to the woodsman's swing,
Labrador, our Labrador.
And mighty floods that long remained,
Their raging fury unrestrained,
Shall serve the purpose God ordained,
Labrador, our Labrador.
We love to climb thy mountains steep,
Labrador, our Labrador.
And paddle on thy waters deep,
Labrador, our Labrador.
Our snowshoes scar thy trackless plains,
We seek no city streets nor lanes,
We are thy sons while life remains,
Labrador, our Labrador.
